BURGER BEATER

Grovels

Plenty of foam is hidden in this gem. The "Burger Beater" has a full outline, although not extreme, and rides much like a conventional short board, allowing the transition between the two to be seamless. The entry rocker is lowered a bit and has a single concave running almost the entire length of the board. We recommend you ride this 2" shorter and 1/2" wider than your regular short board.

PEELED POTATO

The "Peeled Potato" is a speed junkie's fix. The momentum of the relaxed rocker and subtle single-to-double-barrel concave is really felt as you fly through sections. With a wider outline, this board is made to be ridden short. Because the thickness is carried thorughout the entire board, from nose to tail, it will easily paddle you around the crowd and into even the weakest waves.

ROACH

"The Roach" is another short board that falls into our grovel board group. It's nose is pulled in more, but is a bit wider than your average grovel boards. It still keeps some rocker throughout, and can easily be ridden like a modern short board. The most common design is a single bump swallow. A normal thruster fin set-up is used and is usually 2" to 3" shorter than your go-to short board.
